The summer-thing is here.

11 hours of school separate me from summer. I've taken three of my finals already, and the other three I will take on Tuesday.

My plans this summer include:

Lots of swimming.
3-5 weeks in McCall.
Visiting relatives.
Saving enough money to buy a computer.
Maybe even more money than that.
Updating my blog daily. (I've been slacking in that area)
Riding my bike downtown.
Remodeling my room to utilize the space.
Discovering if there really is a bunker in my backyard.

Stop motion!

This spring break, I'm hanging out with friends and I'm supposed to be cleaning.

Well, I'm also going to try to make a stop motion movie. So, look to see how it'll turn out in a future post!

It'll probably be LEGO or Matchbox cars, because that's what's available and it's easy to start with. I'll see about people, depending on availability of actors. It will probably focus on the end of the world, and will hopefully be sarcastically funny. So yeah.......

Here's my inspiration: A stop motion called Tony vs. Paul, by Tony Fiandaca and Paul Cummings. These two are geniuses at stop motion, and have been hired to create ads for TV based on this work.

It's spring break!!!!

Well, it's spring break for me. A whole week without school. Awesome.

It's snowing!

Well, its snowing out right now. Unfortunately it's like 35 degrees, so there's no accumulation. :-( I'm about to go and buy a swimsuit.

I built a Trebuchet!

I just wanted to post that I built a Trebuchet! I will post pics as soon as I get a free moment.

I love the sound it makes on the metal roof of my back patio while I'm laying to go to sleep.

I love the smell it makes when it's about to start.

I love the clean feeling everything has after the fact.

I love the mood of the world, calm and collected.

I love the lightning and the thunder.

I love the rain.

I love the clouds. Especially when they are dark and scary, yet have so much personality.

I'm going out to play in the rain now!

My Ski trip!

I went skiing this past Thursday. Me and two of my friends went cross-country skiing, while everyone else [it was a school-wide trip] either Downhill skied or snowboarded. So today, a Friday, I am feeling the pain. Literally. I woke up this morning a little late, as I slept through my alarm. I felt like I was going to die. Soreness everywhere, especially in my thighs and gut. Unnnnnnnggggggggggghhhhhhh. I wish I had taken some pictures, but I didn't want to take my camera. Good thing too, since I fell on every part of my body.

Congratulations, Mr. President.

Congratulations, Obama! You are now the most powerful man in the world. Spend wisely. A lot of kids watched the inauguration in school today. I watched Kung Fu Panda instead. It was a reward for my class doing well on winter finals. It was my social studies class. You know, where you watch all sorts of videos like the inauguration and stuff like that. Sense anything wrong with this picture? Oh, the irony, how it is dripping. Great.

Review:: Netflix

My experience with Netflix has been very good. I really like their website, It was designed well. 

Pros:

Good turnaround time. [For me it's send movie back, wait one day, get new movie next day.]

Good website design. They have automatic guessing for the search, and is very accurate.

Good streaming. They have a lot of movies and TV shows that I like to watch for streaming.

Cons:

Poor browser support. Streaming only works with IE, so I have to switch browsers if I want to stream video. 

It's so hard to find the @#!& envelopes!!! Take out the disc, watch the movie, and POOF! They're gone!!! *$%$(!
